Tint Removal & Re-Tint

Old dyed film fails in a predictable way out here: it goes purple, then it bubbles, then it starts creeping away from the edges. Cheap film and hard sun do that in a few years.
Removal is the part most people underestimate. Rear defroster lines lift with the adhesive if the film is pulled dry or pulled fast, and a broken defroster line is not cheaply fixed. It gets steamed, softened and taken off properly, glass cleaned down to nothing, then re-tinted.
